Peachy Keen Challenge #55

It's time again for another Peachy Keen Challenge! Let me tell you, I am very excited to share my card I have made for it! So as you all know, the July 4th is right around the corner and I just had to make a patriotic card. This Peachy Keen Challenge is a sketch challenge with no twist. For the mouse, I used the Cheers for Green Beer stamp set! It was so much fun to color and add the stripes to the clothes of this mouse. I hope you take the time to participate in the Peachy Keen Challenge!

Market Street June Release

Okay, so I am very excited for the Market Street Stamps June release. Angelica has yet again created a bunch of wonderful stamps. This Gone Campin' stamp set is so perfect for the summer time. This set has adorable images in additional to very cute sentiments. I really wanted to make a little camp ground scene with these new stamps. This mosquito is really enjoying roasting marshmallows! Please make sure to check out the Market Street blog all this week for more inspiration. Also make sure to leave a comment on this post, other designers' posts, and the Market Street Stamps blog for an opportunity to win this stamp set or the other stamp set in this release! Thanks for stopping by!

DeNami Color Challenge #8

I couldn't resist doing the DeNami Color Challenge #8. I absolutely love the color combination! I thought an ocean themed card would be perfect with the colors that you are required to use. I used different cardstocks, in addition to layered pieces of vellum to create depth and texture. The used the Sea Friends, Whale, and Get Whale Soon stamp sets for my card. I love the cute little faces of these different sea animals! This card was so much fun to make!

Cool Drinks

Hey Everyone! I am here to share some super fun cards that I created using Market Street Stamps. Both cards are pretty much the same formula, I just used different stamps and color choices for each card. Both beverages are from the Tiki Time stamp set, and I colored them with my Copic markers. I stamped the Punched Tin background stamp with Verasmark ink and used clear heat embossing powder. It is easy to make variations of these cards by just substituting colors, or using different sentiments that are found on the Tiki Time stamp set. These cards were so much fun to make, I hope you enjoy them!

Peachy Keen Challenge #54

For this Peachy Keen Challenge, I just had to do a card with an ice cream theme. I love ice cream especially in the summertime! This challenge requires you to follow the sketch. I decided to have the mouse from Valentine Cupids stamp set driving the ice cream truck. The mouse, who ordered the triple scoop cone, was a little ambitious on his order. This sad mouse is from the Mitsy Sue and Colby Cheer Up Set. The massive ice cream cone and scoops are from the Happy Birthday Kids stamp set. The sentiment is from the Skunk Cheer Up Set. I hope you like my card, and please be sure to take the time to participate in the Peachy Keen Challenge!

Peachy Keen Blog Hop!

I am really excited that the Peachy Keen blog hop is finally here! I have been waiting with anticipation for this release. I know I say this time and time again, but Kathy really did outdo herself again! This release is good for anytime, and any occasion. She has created a face stamp set that coordinate with the new releases. This allows you to change the expression on the animals. The versatility of these stamps are endless with the additional face stamps. I have made some cards to showcase the new releases!

This karaoke mouse is singing its little heart out! I used the Karaoke Birthday Set, and Hillbilly Holler Set 5. The "You're Invited" is perfect for an invitation for a birthday party or any other gathering. The Hillbilly Holler Set 5 also has a large stamp that has the party information (for, date, time, place, rsvp) that fits great on the inside!

This bunny is from the Ballin' Bunnies stamp set. I used the very versatile Sampler Package of Faces to change the facial expression on the bunny. It is really easy to change the face of the bunny with a simple masking technique! The sentiment is from the Hillbilly Holler Set 4.

This kitty is one of my favorite stamps that is part of this release. The kitty is from the Mitsy Sue and Colby Cheer Up set. The tissue box and sentiment are from the Ballin' Bunnies stamp set.

This sweet little skunk, flowers, and sentiment are from the Skunk Cheer Up Set.

I am giving away a $25 gift certificate to one lucky random winner. To qualify you must leave a comment on this blog post in addition to you email address. Good Luck!

Island Fun

Summer is right around the corner, and I felt really inspired to create a bright and fun card using my Market Street Stamps. For my card, I actually used four different stamp sets. I used the Chillaxin stamp set for the palm tree and the sentiment. The crab is from the Under the Sea stamp set. I used the Here Comes the Sun background stamp for the sky, and the Zebra Print background stamp for the water. I hope the sun is shining where everyone lives as much as it is on this little crab!
