Lawnscaping Challenge #132- Distress Maniacs

Happy Monday! I hope you are ready for the next Lawnscaping Challenge! The challenge is to create a project that has distressing or uses a distress product. I made a card for my dad who is also known as the "fishing legend." He is a fishing guide and loves to be outdoors. My dad is amazing and  I created this card as another reminder that he is "o-fish-ally awesome"! I started with my kraft cardstock card base. I inked the edges of the cardstock with a warm brown color. I layered my scene on top on the kraft paper. Pattern paper clouds create a backdrop behind the grass and critters. I used sand paper to distress the grass and layered it on top of the pattern paper. I stamped and die cut out all of my critters and accessories. I finished off my card with twine wrapped around the card and tied into a bow.

Materials Used:
Dad + Me - stamps and dies
Grassy Hillside Borders
Sky Single Cord
Thank You Tags

Lawnscaping Challenge #130- Sparkle It Up

Good morning, I hope you are ready for a brand new Lawnscaping Challenge! The challenge is to create a sparkly project. When it comes to shimmer and sparkle,  I immediately think of fairies. I decided to create a small fairy garden scene. The fairies are having so much fun playing with dew drop with their snail friends. I used sparkly cardstock for the sky, clouds, and grass. I also use a shimmer brush pen to highlight areas of my stamped images. Unfortunately, the shimmer is so subtle it did not show up in the photograph.

Materials Used:
Fairy Friends
Gleeful Gardens
Summertime Charm

The sponsor of the challenge is Lawn Fawn. The winner of the challenge will win a stamp set of their choice. I think that is an awesome prize, especially since their new release is coming out soon!

Hey everyone, I hope you are ready for the next Lawnscaping Challenge. This challenge is one of my favorites because it is using critters in your project. Lawn Fawn has the most adorable critter sets, there are a wide variety of them and they are perfect for creating scenes. I decided to create a camping scene using a couple different stamp sets. I love how Lawn Fawn stamps are proportioned perfectly so you can mix and match critters from different sets. I paired my stamped images with tonal pattern paper and die cut stars for the nighttime sky.

Lawnscaping Challenge #128 - Sketch

Happy Monday! Today I am sharing a card that I created for the current Lawnscaping Challenge. I love doing sketch challenges. Sketches are great if you love creating scenes like I do. For my background I mixed and matched the "Beachside" Collection Paper and "Beachside" Petite Paper Pack to create a variety in the patterns.

Lawnscaping Challenge #126 - Sweets

Hey everyone! It is time again for another Lawnscaping Challenge. This challenge is to create a project with something sweet in it. I recently order the "Perfectly Plaid" petite paper pack, so I really wanted to use that as color inspiration for my card. I layered pattern paper on top of my plaid paper from two petite paper packs called "Sweater Weather" and "Let's Polka." The bear from the "Party Animal" stamp set is one of my favorite Lawn Fawn images. He is just the cutest thing, and the only thing that can make him cuter is to give him some pink cotton candy. I stacked tickets from the "Admit One" stamp set. I wrapped the "Pink Lemonade" single cored around my pattern paper and tied it into a bow. The final step was to adhere all of my components to a thick bright pink cardstock.
