Lawnscaping Challenge #68- Pinterest Inspired

Hey everyone! Today I have a card to share for the newest Lawnscaping Challenge. For this challenge you must create a project that is inspired from Pinterest. You have an endless amount of inspiration on Pinterest, I found these cute Thanksgiving outdoor decorations. When I saw this photo I was inspired to do a fun Thanksgiving scene. I was really drawn to the bright colors in this photo, and the different fall elements.

Did you know that turkeys love pumpkin pie and that is what they are most thankful for? This turkey is indulging himself in a large slice of pumpkin pie topped with some whipped cream. He doesn't need to eat his pie at a table with the finest chinaware, he enjoys it outside amongst the pumpkins.

Materials Used:
Lawn Fawn- Happy Feast
Lawn Fawn- So Thankful
Lawn Fawn- Turkey Day
Lawn Fawn- Into The Woods Petite Paper Pack

Happy Hauntings!

Hey Everyone!Halloween is right around the corner, and I am so excited! I love Halloween, there are so many fun decorations and costumes. I decided to make a trick-or-treat scene for my Halloween card. All of the dressed up animals with their bag filled with candy under the crescent moon in the sky are from the Hoppy Halloween and Critters in Costume stamp sets. The flying bats and the tiny spider hanging from the owl are from the Trick or Treat and Heebie Jeebies stamp sets. The spooky haunted house in the background with the a large pumpkin in front of the creaky porch are from So Thankful and Happy Haunting stamp sets. After I colored and cut out all my stamped images, I layered them on top of different pattern papers. I added some colorful stars and twine to finish off my Halloween scene. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Lawnscaping Challenge #67- Pattern Paper Craze

Happy Monday! It is time again for another exciting Lawnscaping Challenge. The challenge is to create a project using pattern paper. I used the Lawn Fawn Into the Woods petite paper pack for all of the pattern papers. I paper pieced the pattern paper on the tree. The tree is from the Critters of the 'Burbs stamp set. I created a colorful fall scene with a variety of stamp sets. I stamped and colored all of my images with Copic markers.  The fluffy clouds are from the Blue Skies stamp set.  I used the Gnome Sweet Gnome stamp set for the mushrooms. The fox is from the Into the Woods stamp set, and it is sitting on a log from Critters in the Forest stamp set. What I love the most about Lawn Fawn is you can combine pretty much any stamp from any set together to create a fun scene.

Operation Write Home Blog Hop and Card Drive

Hello Hopper! Today I have two very special cards to share with you for the Operation Write Home Blog HopIf you came from Karen's blog you are in the right spot!

We brought our creativity together in the hopes that we would inspire you to join us (DT members) in doing a good deed! Most of you know our Boys and Gals from the armed forces are deployed all over the world. Sometimes these men and woman are in places that make it very hard, or they’re far away from anywhere that they can pick up a sweet card to send a quick note home. Luckily, they have OPERATION WRITE HOME (OWH). OWH is a non-profit organization that sends special boxes filled with cards to soldiers all over the world. How can you help OWH keep the good deed going? Making cards!!! Yes! OWH angels receive tons of handmade cards from crafters all over the world, then they check and organize cards to be sent out to our soldiers. Take a look at some of their own words about OWH packs.

Now we would love for you to join us to help OWH. We thought it would be amazing fun to do a blog hop to inspire you! Design Teams from Paper Temptress, Oozak and Color me Creative Class will join together in one amazing Card Drive HOP. The fun just gets better! You can join in by making a project (following OWH – size and safety guidelines), entering a picture of the project on the hop inlinkz (One project linked per person please) then mailing the project to us. We would loooove it if you could send as many as you can by November 7th (we will screen them and send all of them to OWH) . You could win super prizes from amazing, super generous sponsors!!! YES!! You do a good deed and you also can win a sweet gift!!!

Thank you to our sponsors

The first card I made is a digital stamp from Sweet Pea Stamps called Norma Burnell's Hoot Owl. I love how this owl looks. I had so much fun coloring all the different feathers on the owl with my Copic markers. I used thick high quality cardstock from the Paper Temptress.

My second card is a digital stamp from A Day For Daisies called Family Ties. I colored all the different owls with my Copic markers, and found a fun coordinating paper. I also used thick high quality cardstock from the Paper Temptress too for this card.

It’s time to HOP around. Leave little note as you pass by these lovely designers’ blogs! Don’t forget to add you project to the inlinkz at the end of the Hop! You will also find the address to mail your cards at the end of the hop. You can Hop throughout the month of October. This way everyone in their own time can hop and join in!

Oozak Challenge #23- Anything Goes with Black and White

Good Morning! Today I have a fun card to share with you for the Oozak Challenge #23- Anything Goes with black and white. I love to use many colors in my projects, so this challenge really allowed me to try something outside the box. Black and White projects tend to be very elegant and beautiful, and I wanted to do something different. I decided to make a fun birthday card using some of my favorite Lawn Fawn stamps. The zebra is from the Lawn Fawn Critters on the Savanna stamp set! I used the Lawn Fawn Admit One stamp set for the balloons. The present is from the Lawn Fawn Pa-Rum-Pa- Pum-Pum stamp set. The Hemptique black and white baker's twine was a great addition to the pattern papers I used. I added some Queen & Co Nightfall rhinestones for some sparkle.
