Peachy Keen Challenge #42

Hey everyone! For this Peachy Keen Challenge, you are suppose to create a card or layout using dry or heat embossing. I decided to use my Cuttlebug to create a texture on the felt rug. Unfortunately, this picture does not really show the polka dot texture. Embossing felt is a really fun technique that can transform the fabric. I really love the Colby and Jack Cheese stamp set, so I just had to use it for this challenge! I thought the girl mouse needed a bow, so I used the Gingerbread Doll stamp set. I had so much fun with this challenge, and I hope you do too!

Peachy Keen Ornaments

It is officially December and I have created some Peachy Keen ornaments to get into the holiday spirit. These ornaments are made with a very thick and durable high quality chipboard. On all of my ornaments, I used Glamour Dust Ice Crystal paint which adds so much sparkle. These would make a nice gift, or a fun project for all ages!

Market Street Stamps

Market Street Stamps has released some brand new background stamps. They coordinate very nicely with all of the Market Street stamps. These large stamps are very high quality, and fit perfectly on a A2 card! I have made some cards using the new stamps both as backgrounds and textural elements in stamped images. I hope you enjoy!

For this partying pepper, I used Bffs and Bit of Burlap.

I used Too Many Martinis and Simply Stitched Borders to create the ocean scene. The Octopus is from Sea Animals and Creatures, and the sentiment is from Ain't No Sunshine stamp set.

These are just few examples of what you can do with these stamps. Please be sure check out Market Street Stamps website for more information about the stamps in addition to more inspiration!

Peachy Keen Challenge #41

For Peachy Keen Challenge 41, you are suppose to create a inspirational project for someone who is going through a difficult time in their life. I think people develop a strength they never knew they had. I wanted to create a card to remind the recipient to be strong, in addition to putting a smile on their face. I used Peachy Keen Faceless Fruit, and Everyday Character Face Assortment stamp sets.

Peachy Keen Blog Hop!

Hey everyone! Welcome to my blog, I hope you have been enjoying the Peachy Keen blog hop! Peachy Keen has released a lot of new winter stamp sets, and they are all really fun and adorable. I have created some projects using some of the stamp sets.

These Too Sweet to Eat Gingerbreads are standing in front of their Gingerbread House.

Christmas is right around the corner, and Santa is ready to come to everyone's home. You may be concerned that Santa burned himself coming down this chimney. He actually snuck through a back window to get into this home. I used Peachy Keen Santa Set to create this card.

I absolutely love the Lorie and Al Gingerbread Set I think it is so cute! I love the expressions on the gingerbread's faces.

Oh no it's snowing candy, and this little gingerbread girl is shocked! I used Bite Me Ginger and the Gingerbread House stamp sets.

The Our 2 Angels in Heaven stamp set is a special set that has been created in memory of Lisa's two wonderful children whose lives ended too soon. It is heartbreaking to hear her story, but her strength and courage is so inspirational. Kathy and Dave are both very generous people, and they are donating the profits from this stamp set to Make a Wish Foundation. This organization is wonderful, so please find it in your heart to contribute and honor the memory of Lisa's children.

I have one last piece of exciting news. I am giving away the Gingerbread House stamp set! All you need to do is leave a comment on this post along with your email. I will be drawing one random winner on Monday November 15. Good Luck! Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my blog.

Peachy Keen Challenge #39

For this Peachy Keen challenge you are suppose to create elements used in gift wrapping. I decided to create a set of stationary cards and envelopes. I also made a coordinating gift bag to hold the cards. I used Happy Bird and Phrases for the bird, Fall Fun Pumpkins for the sunflowers, Simple Sallies Face Assortment for the sunflower faces, and Sweetie Pie Peepers for the sentiment. The polka dot backgrounds are the Large Polka Dot Print and the Medium Polka Dot Print. I really love these polka dot stamps, because they are easy to line up to repeat the pattern. Stationary cards are fun to create, and I really think they would make a great gift!

Market Street Stamps

Hey everyone! Angelica from Market Street Stamps has launched a brand new website and has designed more adorable stamps. I created this card using a newly released stamp set. This cute flan image and sentiment is from the BFF's stamp set. What is so unique about this set is there are versatile bilingual sentiments. Be sure to check out Market Street Stamps new website!

Peachy Keen Challenge #38

It's time for another Peachy Keen challenge! For this challenge, you are suppose to create an October themed project that is not a card. I decided I was going to create a recipe box filled with the ingredients. I found a paper mache book that looks like a witch's spell book. The top of the box is a view of the witch's room where she and her spider assistant cook up some potions. The ghost peeking in through the window is scared of what is being created. The inside of the box contains bottles that are filled with the soft drink mix and sugar. I used Lisa Jean Halloween, Halloween Minis, Spiders and Cats, Dress Me Ghost, and Spider on Freaked Ghost stamp sets. This box would make a cute gift set for a halloween party!

This Frankly stamp set is so charming, there are adorable images and tons of a sentiments that you can mix and match easily.

This Haunted Pumpkin House stamp set is so much fun. The pieces are separate so you can add or subtract any elements to your house! I made my pumpkin black for a more spooky look!

Lisa-Jean Halloween is mixing up some potion! The arm coming out of the cauldron is handing Lisa-Jean her final creation, and she seems to like the results.

This sleepy ghost has found its home inside a pumpkin. For this card I used Haunted Pumpkin House and Haunted Pumpkin House Accessories.

This tooth really is the definition of a sweet tooth. All it can think about is candy! This tooth and sentiment can be found on the Frankly stamp set!

This witch just isn't having the best day since she smashed into the pumpkin. For this card, I used Lisa Jean Halloween, Haunted Pumpkin House, and Haunted Pumpkin Accessories.

Peachy Keen Challenge #37

Hey everybody it's time for another Peachy Keen Challenge! I must say this challenge was so much fun, and I am very excited to see what everyone is going to do for it! For the Peachy Keen challenge you must follow the sketch along with using kraft paper. I just love the look and warmth that kraft paper provides for cards and layouts. For this challenge, I was really inspired by colorful leaves and the crisp fall air. I used the adorable Piggy Tubby Time stamp for the pigs playing in the leaves. This stamp has a lot of possibilities because you can use it as is, or simply remove the pigs from the tub and place them in a different settings. Thank you so much for viewing my project, and I hope everyone has enjoyed my take on the challenge!

Peachy Keen Challenge #36

For Peachy Keen Challenge #36 you must follow the sketch provided in addition to using the colors daffodil, melon, and cobalt. The sketch provided me with the perfect opportunity to create this rock concert. I flipped the sketch upside down, and created rows of seating for the fans attending the show. The duck dolls stamp set was perfect for the color part of this challenge. Thank you so much for looking at my card, I hope you like my rock chicks concert!

Peachy Keen Blog Hop!

Hey everybody, I hope you enjoyed Heidi's blog along with all the other designers! I am so excited for this Peachy Keen blog hop, because I adore these new Peachy Keen stamps and Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. Peachy Keen is releasing three new Halloween stamp sets, and there are a lot of adorable images and cute sentiments. My favorite part about these new stamp sets is your ability to mix and match different images and sentiments. I have created some cards and treat bags to show some of the possibilities these stamps have to offer. I hope you enjoy my creations as much as I enjoyed making them!!!

For my first card all of the images are from the Halloween Minis stamp set.

This little witch is the ghost from the Nikkity Knack Cat Gang stamp set. The spider can also be found in the Nikkity Knack Cat Gang set. I also used Halloween Minis for the wand and broom.

I know that money doesn't grow on trees, but wouldn't it be great if candy did? These Halloween Sweet Folks are enjoying there special candy treats!

This poor star is scared for the kiss that is coming his way. I used Nikkity Cat Gang for the ghosts and the star, the sentiment is from Halloween Sweet Folks.

These tasty carmel apples are from Halloween Sweet Folks stamp set . I had to add sweet faces to these apples so I used the face from the bat on the Halloween Minis set.

I used the Nikkity Knack Cat Gang stamp set for the cat and bat, and the sentiment is from the Halloween Minis set.

I used all of the new stamp sets to create these treat bags. You can make these treat bags very easily by using any of the new stamps. The possibilities are endless!!

Speaking of candy I am actually giving away a special little treat on my blog! I am going to be giving away the Nikkity Knack Cat Gang stamp set. This Peachy Keen Challenge you are suppose to follow the sketch and use the colors apricot, teal, and orchid. I decided to covert the circle into a fish bowl and have kitties enjoy some leisurely fishing fun. For this challenge I used Cute Kitties and Critter Faces stamp sets. This challenge is fun because it really is two challenges in one!
