Lawnscaping Challenge #95- White on White

Good Morning! Today I have a card to share with you for the current Lawnscaping Challenge. The challenge is to create a project that is white! This really was a challenge to do, but my main challenge was to get it to photograph well. My card has a lot of layers and texture to create dimension. I started with a white cardstock base then adhered a sparkly white paper on top. Embossed white paper was added on top of the sparkly paper. I wrapped vellum around the embossed cardstock, and added all my elements to the vellum. The shimmer on the die cut letters is a white Wink of Stella brush pen. The trees from the "Snow Day" stamp set were embossed with clear powder on white cardstock.

Materials Used:
Cole's ABCs
Snow Day

The sponsor for this challenge is Simon Says stamp. The winner of the challenge will receive a $25 gift certificate. Which is an awesome prize!

Lawnscaping Challenge #88- Texture

Good morning, I hope you had a great weekend! It is time for another awesome Lawnscaping Challenge. This challenge is to create a project with texture. I LOVE adding texture to my projects! I made this card for my mom's birthday, she is my crafting buddy. We started making cards together a little over 10 years ago, and its something we always enjoy doing together.
A simple and fun way to add texture is by using embossing folders. I used a swiss dot embossing folder for the background of my card. I layered patterned paper on top of the embossed cardstock. I used some burlap ribbon to add an organic element to my design. The "Birthday Tag" has foam tape behind it to add dimension. The bear, from the "Love You S'more" stamp set, just needed a party hat. The birthday hat, from the "Hats off to You" stamp set, fits perfectly on the bear. The bear is sitting on fun pom pom trimming. I added "Silver Sparkle Cord" to my tag, and buttons to the card to add additional texture.

Material Used:
Birthday Tags
Hats Off to You
Love You S'more
Silver Sparkle Cord

This challenge is sponsored by Lawn Fawn, the winner of the challenge will receive a stamp set of their choice!

Lawnscaping Challenge #87- Back to School

Happy Monday,  I am very excited for the newest Lawnscaping Challenge! The challenge is to create a back to school themed project! School is right around the corner for many kids. One of my favorite things about this time of year was buying brand new school supplies. I created a fun scholastic card using a variety of Lawn Fawn supplies. I was inspired by the color combinations in the "Dewey Decimal" petite paper pack. The birds and book, from the "Science of Love" stamp set, coordinated perfectly with the pattern papers. I also used the "Science of Love" lawn die cuts, they save so much time and are so easy to use. I finished off my card with gold sparkle twine. Whenever I wrap twine around my card I typically use foam tape so the paper doesn't leave bumps where the twine is.

Materials Used:
A Good Apple
Dewey Decimal petite paper pack
Gold Sparkle single cord
Science of Love
Science of Love lawn cuts

The sponsor of this challenge is Simon Says Stamp, the winner will receive a $25 gift certificate!

Lawnscaping July Blog Hop

Happy Friday, and welcome to my blog! If you came from the incredibly talented Lenny's Blog you are in the right spot! The card I made for this hop was inspired by summer, and lemonade is a refreshing beverage for hot summer days. I made a sweet little card for this hop using two different Lawn Fawn stamp sets.  The jar and lemons are from the "Summertime Charm" stamp set. I also used the " Make Lemonade" stamp set to decorate the label on the jar. I paired my lemonade with colorful pattern paper and sheer polka dot ribbon!
