Lawnscaping Challenge #137- Texture-fied


Happy Monday, I hope you had a great weekend! Today I am sharing my card for the current Lawnscaping Challenge. This challenge is to create a project that has texture in it. I used the stamps and dies from the "Yay, Kites!" set. I layered my scene on embossed textured clouds and dots. For additional texture, I added a small bow to middle kite.

Lawnscaping Challenge #136- Punny Time


Happy Monday, I hope you are ready for the another Lawnscaping Challenge! The challenge is create a project with a punny sentiment. I am always a sucker for puns and terrible jokes, so this challenge perfect for me. I used the "Year Four" stamp set to create a simple birthday card.

Lawnscaping Challenge #135- Patterned Palooza


Happy Monday, I hope you are ready for the next Lawnscaping Challenge! The challenge is to create a project that has patterns in it! I made an under the sea themed card, using pattern paper. I stamped the sea critters on pattern paper and then cut them out. Using three different pattern papers, I paper pieced the sea turtle. I tore paper to create ocean waves and the ocean floor. Brown ink was lightly sponged to the edge of the pattern paper to add subtle distressing.

Lawnscaping Challenge #134- Rainbow


Happy Monday! Today I am sharing my project for the current Lawnscaping Challenge. The challenge is to create a project that is inspired by the colors of the rainbow. I really wanted to create a colorful summertime card. The walrus is so happy sunbathing on the sand. I used a variety of Lawn Fawn pattern papers to create the backdrop of my beach scene.
