Market Street Stamps' November Release Sneak Peek

Peachy Keen Challenge #66

Christmas is going to be here before we know it. I decided for the Peachy Keen sketch challenge to make a Santa "Naughty or Nice" list. This list has magnets on the back to be displayed on the refrigerator, you can tie ribbon on it to create a wall hanging too. The Santa is from the Peachy Keen Santa Set. The sentiment is from the very versatile Christmas Greeting Words stamp set. I love this stamp set, you can mix and match the different words to create tons of sentiments. Shaker Card Tutorial

Today I am going to show you how to make a simple shaker card using Market Street Stamps.

First you want to stamp the flower vase on a piece of paper. It does not have to be a high quality sheet of paper, because we are going to use it as a mask.

From your stamp image, cut out the part of the stamped image you want to mask off.

Place your cut out image on a new piece of cardstock, then carefully line up and stamp the same vase on top of your mask.

Stamp your flowers onto the cardstock. Use a pen to fill in any lines that are missing. Then cut the image to 2.5" x 4".

I colored my stamped image with Copic Markers.

I then created a frame for my shaker card. The cardstock is 3.5" x 4.75". I stamped the Bit of Burlap background stamp on the cardstock with brown ink. I then flipped the cardstock over and measured .75" on each side. I then cut out the inside part of the frame.

The next step is glue a piece of acetate onto the frame with a strong adhesive like score tape. I then used strips of foam tape to create the dimension for my frame. Make sure you get the foam tape is close to the inside part of the frame but be careful to not go too far in because you will see it. The next step is to place some tiny beads inside the perimiter of your foam tape. Be careful when peeling the release liner on the tape because it will cause static. The beads will then stick the tape so just do it slowly and you will be fine. The last step is to place your stamped image onto the foam tape. You will have to do this upside down so be sure to keep your image straight.

The final card is 4.25" by 5.25". I ran the face of the card through the polka dot cuttlebug embossing folder. I then embellished my card with some brown half pearls and twine. Thanks for taking the time to look at tutorial. Have a nice day!

Market Street Stamps and Twinery Blog Hop

Hey everyone! I hope you enjoyed Tifany's blog! I am beyond excited to share my card I made using the Market Street Stamps and Twinery twine. I have to admit for my past birthday my mom got me some Twinery twine and I never used it. It wasn't because I didn't like it, I was just saving for "special cards." When I learned about the Twinery and Market Street Stamps' blog hop I was really excited because it pushed me to use twine. Let my tell you I am hooked. I love all the colors and the twine so nice to work with. It is soft and it does not unravel, now I see why everyone loves it! I wanted to utilize all the colors, so I chose to do a rainbow. I also created the sky with twine. I used a sheet of adhesive and then created a random pattern in the background. It was so much fun! I used the Sure Miss You stamp set for the clouds and sun, and the Slow Movin' stamp set for the sentiment.

Peachy Keen Kut Outs Blog Hop!

As you may already know Peachy Keen has come out with an awesome new products that can make card making a breeze. For my projects, I did a slight variation to show the versatility of the die cuts. I stamped and hand cut out my stamped image, I then used the Kut Outs on cardstock to create more of a shadow look. I used the very cute Snow Girl stamp set with the coordinating Winter Character with Stocking Cap die cut. I created an ornament by placing the Snow Girl on a die cut snowflake!

Peachy Keen Challenge #65

Hey everyone! It's time again for another Peachy Keen Sketch Challenge. This challenge is really fun because there is a twist added to the challenge! The twist is you must paper piece your stamped image. It is hard to see in this photograph, but I did paper piece the cardstock for the bunny. I used some chalk to add more dimension. For my card, I used the Snowmany Thanks Snowman and Bunny stamp set for the bunny. I masked off the carrot, and replaced it with a microphone. The karaoke microphone, speaker, and music notes is from the Karaoke Birthday stamp set. The sentiment is from the Spring Bouquet stamp set. Market Street Stamps' November Paint the Town Challenge

For the Market Street Stamp's November Paint the Town Color Challenge, I decided to create a fun winter card. The colors for this challenge are not typical winter colors, but I actually like how it turned out. The colors are Concord, Dusty Lavender, Thistle, and Subtle Sage. Peachy Keen Challenge #64

Hey everyone, I hope you are having a wonderful day! Today I am posting a card I made for the Peachy Keen sketch challenge. I decided that I wanted to flip the sketch, because I thought it would look better with the Happy Turtle stamp. I absolutely love this stamp, this turtle is so adorable and makes me smile.
