Peachy Keen Challenge #58

I always thought it would be so much fun to go up in a hot air balloon. Though I do not really care for being up high, I really think the experience would be so cool. I have been waiting to do a hot air balloon themed card, and this Peachy Keen challenge really lends itself well to my idea. For this challenge, you must create a project by following the sketch. I used the Vivienne and Friends stamp set for the little girl. I used a hot air balloon Cricut shape from Summer in Paris cartridge, with a hand weaved basket, then used some twine to attach the basket to the balloon. My color choice was inspired by the colors of the sunset. Please be sure to go to Peachy Keen Stamps blog for more inspiration! Thanks for stopping by my blog, and have a wonderful day!

  3. What a great shape for a hot air balloon (love the scroll work)! Your vision is always amazing, Samantha, and I'm not one bit surprised about you hand weaving a basket. That's the way you roll, and it's awesome!

    Love ya,
